This work on the thought of Raymond Aron aims to complete his own autobiography (Memoirs), the biographies of others and the author’s main works that are still read in universities, also aiming to guide the reader in the study of the whole of his thought. While this volume does not entirely ignore Aron’s political involvements and activities, its main purpose is to aid the study of his political, sociological, and philosophical writings. Such an effort is especially important, even indispensable, given the breadth of the Aronian corpus. He is one of the few modern political thinkers who has not been the subject of a work of this kind.
