Acílio Estanqueiro Rocha, member of the Centre for Ethics, Politics and Society (CEPS) and Professor Emeritus of UMinho will be awarded the II Sapientia Prize for a lifelong dedication to Philosophy by the University of Santiago de Compostela. The ceremony will take place at the International Symposium “Paths of Thought”, in the late morning of November 9th. The “Laudatio” of the laureate will be made by Professor Marcelino Agís Villaverde, current Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Santiago de Compostela.
