Within the framework of the multi-annual project for the funding of R&D Units by the Foundation for Science and Technology (ref. UIDP/04952/2020), it is planned to hire a doctoral researcher to carry out activities within the research line on the ethics of human enhancement, with the aim of publishing a book for an international publisher. This effort has a twofold objective: to present the research of our graduate academics at high-level conferences in order to expand the work of CEPS at national and international level, and to reinforce the centre’s dedication to expanding its focus on applied ethics, particularly bioethics.
In accordance with article 6 of the University of Minho’s Regulations for the Career, Recruitment, Hiring and Performance Evaluation of Research Staff under Private Law, using the figure of guest researcher, the call for expressions of interest for the scholarship is open to interested parties, by sending a letter of motivation and a CV (in Science ID format) to margarete@elach.uminho.pt, by 15/07/2024.
