Our first Arqus Talent Fund student

Lena Marinova is doing her PhD in Philosophy at UMinho, crossing epistemology, ethics, justice and applied science.

Lena Marinova was born in Bulgaria and lives in Vienna, Austria. She studied Biology at the Universities of Graz and Vienna and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Applied Sciences, also in Austria. In 2010, she decided to broaden her horizons by doing a bachelor’s and then a master’s degree in Philosophy at the University of Vienna, including a year at the Bioethics Centre at Monash University in Australia.
