O workshop \u00e9 organizado pelo CEVIPOF<\/a> (Sciences Po), pelo ANR Project THEOVAI<\/a>L, e\u00a0pelo projeto da FCT\u00a0\u201cPopulismo, Demagogia e Ret\u00f3rica em Perspetiva Hist\u00f3rica\u201d<\/a>. O\u00a0PDRHP<\/a>\u00a0\u00e9 um projecto de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o dedicado ao estudo do populismo, da demagogia e da ret\u00f3rica em perspectiva hist\u00f3rica. Detalhes<\/strong>: O debate sobre o populismo tem sido extenso na \u00faltima d\u00e9cada, com os acad\u00e9micos a sugerirem que podemos estar a viver numa era populista. No entanto, a defini\u00e7\u00e3o do populismo contempor\u00e2neo continua a ser controversa devido \u00e0 rica polissemia do termo. Este semin\u00e1rio tem como objectivo explorar a dimens\u00e3o hist\u00f3rica do populismo, frequentemente negligenciada, que teve origem na R\u00fassia e nos Estados Unidos h\u00e1 150 anos e desempenhou um papel significativo na Am\u00e9rica Latina do p\u00f3s-guerra. Ao examinar estas ra\u00edzes e per\u00edodos anteriores, como o Renascimento e as \u00e9pocas cl\u00e1ssicas, os acad\u00e9micos ligar\u00e3o os debates contempor\u00e2neos sobre o populismo a conhecimentos da hist\u00f3ria social e da hist\u00f3ria do pensamento pol\u00edtico.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
