Em particular, procura determinar se, e em que sentido, os cidad\u00e3os devem ser considerados politicamente competentes. Para tal, problematiza o modelo de compet\u00eancia que a entende exclusivamente como conhecimento, frequentemente mobilizado para p\u00f4r em causa a legitimidade do sistema democr\u00e1tico e a capacidade dos cidad\u00e3os para tomar decis\u00f5es pol\u00edticas.
